Recruitment

Recruitment for all of our teams at the Leicester Panthers is a year-round drive to attract the best talent the UK has to offer. We hold various preseason ‘tryouts’ for all 3 teams within our programme, as well as the option to drop in to any of our practice sessions during the season. These preseason sessions are typically held December-January (more information is available on these through our social media pages and by visiting our Contact page on the website)

We currently have 3 Teams - Adult Contact mixed (18+), Women’s Contact (17+) & Youth Contact (U19’s)

EQUIPMENT AND KIT

Please attend all practices in athletic clothing and dress for the respective weather, this can change so please be vigilant. The club and facilities appreciate it if you do not wear bladed boots and must not wear metal tipped studs. For all practice sessions we will require that you bring and use a gym shield.

Once kitted practices start, all players are required to wear helmets and shoulder pads as a minimum. The club has a selection of helmets and pads that can be loaned out to new players. Lower pads will need to be purchased yourself.
